All of life relies on the elements, if we preserve the elements all life will revitalize itself. Jeff Hall’s bronze sculpture is open and fluid, man is balanced with nature on the earth. Surrounded and entwined with the basic elements he relies on.  The earth, the water (fish), the air (birds), and the sun (the ring). The water comes up from the oceans, mixes with the air and spreads across the planet creating life. Man with the ring trying to contain or control the uncontrollable. Spiraling upward like a DNA strand this positive depiction inspires the feeling to protect, enhance and preserve the resources of a living planet.
