Eclipse lives by day extending a gnomon to block the sun, casting a shadow that falls on the clouds that are in a semi circle around him creating a Sundial. In the shadow around back is the moon goddess who rules the night after the sun has set. Eclipse is forever attempting to bring out the moon goddess by blocking out the sun. They are star crossed lovers.
